Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Sage has been involved with music from a very young age. She started writing songs at the age of 8 on the piano, and only 2 years later she was performing on stage at the House of Blues in downtown Chicago with the School of Rock company from Evanston. Alongside piano, she began learning guitar, violin, and took singing lessons around the same time she began to write songs. In high school, she participated in the Musical Offering's Young Women's Composition Competition (YWCC) and won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place consecutively on both national and international standing in her 3 years of participation. As of 2025, she is attending university in California where she conducted and arranged 2 orchestral-level pieces for a concert with over 300 attendees. She continues to write and produce songs in her free time, ranging from pop, rock, orchestral, or even jazz genres.
